Welcome to the I-95 and Palm Bay Southern Interchange Project Development & Environment Study Website!
The Florida Department of Transportation is conducting a Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study to evaluate the new interchange at Mile Post 6.1 on Interstate 95 (I-95) in Brevard County, approximately 1.5 miles north of Micco Road. The project will also include the evaluation of a multi-lane connector road, approximately 4 miles in length that will link Micco Road to the southern terminus of the proposed Palm Bay Parkway at Babcock Street.
Project Development & Environment Study
A PD&E Study is comprised of several elements including the following items:
- Data Collection
- Engineering Analysis
- Environmental Evaluations
- Public Involvement
- Agency Coordination
- Final Approval
